Harrison Township, Blackford County, Indiana
Harrison Township is one of four townships in Blackford County, Indiana. As of the 2000 census, its population was 2,940. The township was named after William Henry Harrison, hero of the Battle of Tippecanoe, former governor of the Indiana Territory, and 9th President of the United States.[3]
Geography
Harrison Township covers an area of 42.1 square miles (109 km2); 0.09 square miles (0.23 km2) (0.21 percent) of this is water. Lake Blue Water and the Godfrey Reserve are in this township. The Salamonie River runs through the township's northeast corner.
